Volunteers are the backbone of the community center. Throughout the years, volunteers have done everything from teaching classes at our community center to creating the library. Current openings are listed below, but if you have other ideas/skills to contribute please let us know!

• Instructors for Community Classes: English, Basic Computer Skills, Democracy Schools

• Interpreters: Annual Health Fair, Bimonthly Health Clinics, Naturalization Clinics, and other events throughout the year.

• Instructors for the Summer Youth Institute: Past workshops include: African Drumming, Culture through Dance, Political Art and Poetry, Mural Painting, Community Organizing, etc. We welcome new ideas!!
